Brian's background is in business banking.
His experience in that field has been a real benefit in establishing the structure and the financial stability of the business and it's planned growth, but Brian also has a long-held interest in interiors and design and brings a constructive and complimentary male perspective to a business that can all too easily concentrate on the female point of view.
Though Brian's role is primarily that of managing the financial and online aspects of the business he also enjoys working on a face to face basis with customers at the Harrogate shop (no doubt getting under the feet of the rest of the team!)
Lisa has held a life-long interest in fashion and design with a particular interest in nightwear, lingerie and swimwear.
It was this fascination, and a particular need to find quality pyjamas that are suitable to lounge in, that led to the formation of the business. Like Topsy, things just grew and grew from there.
Lisa is responsible for the majority of the product sourcing, (her dream job - shopping for a living!), and the presentation of the products both online and in-store.
Lisa is always keen to support local businesses as well as up and coming designers and perhaps some lesser-known labels from around the world. Rest assured, we know their quality is everything you would expect from The Luxe Company
Lisa really is your go-to person if you're looking for something that little bit special, be it lingerie, nightwear, swimwear or gifts and homewear.
SENIOR SALES EXECUTIVE
Alice joined the team in September 2019 alongside the opening of the Harrogate store.
Alice brings a wealth of experience in interior design, home and giftware having worked for several years with other retailers in the sector, including Oka.
She has a particular interest in visual merchandising and her experience and input can already be seen throughout the store.
SENIOR SALES EXECUTIVE
Gilly joined the team in September 2019 alongside the opening of the Harrogate store.
Having lived in Harrogate for many years Gilly has over 25 years experience in the retail sector, including expertise and a passion for textiles and homewares.
Gilly's commitment to social and environmental issues is valuable and helpful to us in ensuring we constantly minimise waste and our carbon footprint through an active packaging recycling program.
Meg is highly appreciative of the opportunity to work with us at The Luxe Company as it gives her relevant experience to her long term goal of a future career in the fashion industry. She has ambitions to become a fashion journalist.
Her enthusiasm, friendliness and confident manner is a great help to both colleagues and customers alike.
Currently in his final year at university, James is studying Politics & International Development.
Outgoing, friendly and helpful, James has been working with us since 2015. He is a great addition to the team and adds to the strength of customer service staff in the Harrogate store as he represents a different demographic.
James has a particular fondness for our more technical products and claims to be the best demonstrator of our Bluetooth speakers. The trouble is, he's probably right!
